Patient experience is an especially important measure of the success of behavioral health services—and it’s what gets patients on a successful road to recovery. The services provided are introspective in nature; thus, the analytics highlight a patients perception of their care. The two graphs, which represent inpatient and outpatient results, demonstrate St. Vincent’s results above targets for two measures: overall quality of care and staff’s responsiveness to requests. Because the third measure, appointment office staff’s courtesy and helpfulness, is new, no target for this measure yet exists.
